Weekly Wisdom Direct To You
For the Week of April 30, 2017...

Understand the inspector’s checklist before the inspection.

Being a first-time buyer today isn’t always easy. One of the critical skills you will need to develop is how to do a “self-inspection” of a property that interests you. You’ll see the home first from the outside, so check it out from roof to foundation, also taking a look at drainage. Likewise, on the inside, keep an eye on telltale signs of good – or bad maintenance – from floor to ceiling. By becoming an amateur home inspector, you’ll be ahead of the curve. When it’s time to consider a professional inspection (an eye-opening experience for buyers who choose to accompany the inspector), you won’t be taken by surprise. In the end, self-inspection is your first line of information.

P.S. In the meantime, we invite you to review our FREE e-Report entitled, “Tire Kicking: Secret Tests To Check A Property’s Condition.” This valuable information tool will teach you how to uncover hidden problems in a home before it’s too late.
